Rugby RCC's Open 10 - 30th July 2005

As anticipated, it will be touch and go as to whether we can use the intended course on July 30th. Since January road works have been in operation on the A45 at Ryton, constructing an island at the A45 - A445 junction. The Highways Authority are saying the work should be complete in time for the event, in which case we can use the course as advertised. The alternative is to use another course on the A45, the K10/10F which is well known to local riders as a club course. Because it encircles the Stretton island on the A45 it is unaffected by the roadworks. The good news is that it is relatively flat and many local riders have established PBs on this course, the current record of 20-08 being held by Richard Bradley(Stourbridge CC). The intended courese is the K10/10C (previously known as the K10/10S but now reclassified with a 'C' for Championship since this was the course devised by Leamington C&AC for the 2003 National Championships).

If we are forced to use the K10/10F we will give all riders a map and a full description at the HQ when signing on. Meanwhile, other details are as follows:
