Signing-on at Braunston

Many of you will have heard the news that we've lost the use of the car park at the Boathouse, Braunston. This is because we had virtually taken over the car park and customers were going away. The manager did say we could carry on at a fiver per head, but we didn't think that was an option.

There is no room in Braunston village itself, so the alternative is to meet at the top of the hill (ie. towards Daventry), next to the Volvo Training Centre. Leave the A45 at the Timken island into Prospect Way and turn immediately right into Alvis Way. As it's evening there should be plenty of parking space on the industrial estate which extends for some way. The location of the start & finish is unaffected, so the downside is that most people will have to ride back up the hill again afterwards.

We have two more events there this season, 14th July and 11th August.
