New 50-mile Club Event - Course K11/50C
Please read notes below - very important
In response to popular demand the club have added an extra event to the 2013 calendar, a 50-mile time trial to be held Sunday 15th September, starting at 8.30 am. Below is a description of the course with a link to a sketch map. Please note the following:
1. This is a club event, just like the evening events, so the route will not be marshalled. It will be up to every competitor to learn the route and be reponsible for their own navigation.
2. The committee looks forward to as many riders as possible supporting the event, as a lot of effort has gone into making this possible. The course has been devised and measured by Mike Bloom (an official CTT course measurer) and James Heaton has spent a great deal of time persuading the CTT to approve the new course and obtaining police approval for the new course.
3. Ample parking is available in Cawston Grange Drive, near the start. Although on the fringe of the Cawston estate there are no houses in the immediate proximity, so providing we restrict parking to one side of the road we should avoid upsetting local residents.
