James Heaton takes another course record by lowering Hywel Davies's time for the Grandborough Fields 2-lapper by 1 second. It was all the more impressive in that conditions were less than favourable (was that our Summer last week?) with a cold easterly wind. Dave Overton was back to form to take second place, while Hywel Davies, on his road bike, slipped to fifth place. Ian Usher and Amrit Singh ran away with the handicap, both riders showing significant improvement on their early season form. Rob Keeves will be pleased to know that his time was 2 minutes less than we showed on the night and he was well inside the 40 minute target riders aim for in covering two laps of what is our 4-Hour finishing circuit.
