Volunteering - Season 2021
Explanation:.
It is club policy that everyone
should volunteer at least once for every 8 rides.
The table below shows who's volunteered set against the number of rides; a complicated
formula has been used to rank all 80 riders in some sort of order.(The system
may not please everyone!)
The Volunteer Score awards a point for every session volunteered, including
the Mallory TTT, our open TT & the Interclub TT. Marshalling or assisting
at the open TT is worth 2 points as this is a long session.
Our 2nd claim members are shown separately, but they are included in the same
system.
The score for the non-riders
is shown at the bottom of the table. These make up one third of all the volunteer
sessions.
The committee's view is
that the volunteer system using the spreadsheet accessed through the club website
has worked well and is simple to use.
